Gousto: Day 3

Last up was goat's cheese bulgar risotto. There were quite a few ingredients for this one:
- 300g bulgar wheat
- 2 rind-on goats cheese
- 6 tomatoes
- 4 garlic cloves
- 60g rennet-free parmesan
- 2 vegetable stock cubes
- 2 medium red onions
- 2 lemons
- 20g fresh rosemary
- 2 tsp chilli flakes
- 300g sugar snap peas

I was highly prepared this time around!

I really enjoyed making this dish because the smells that rose from the pan were just amazing. Once all my ingredients were ready to go it was pretty much just a case of adding things to the pot so it was really easy, and again I had no problems following the recipe card.

This meal was hot, for me anyway, so if you aren't a fan of spice then I'd only add half of the recommended amount of chilli flakes or leave them out altogether. I also discovered that I'm not the biggest fan of goats cheese, but hey, at least I tried it!

Alex really enjoyed this one and I think I would have loved it had it not been for the goats cheese, so I'm going to have a go at making and adapted version of this at some point.

Overall I think my little experiment went quite well! Although I think that Gousto is definitely worth the money, it's maybe not a service that I would pay for every week (at least not at the moment now that I'm travelling between two houses), but I think it would make a really nice change if we ever feel like mixing things up a bit again.
